Eco Cozy Beachfront Resort Chaam

We came during low season (seaview room) and it was pretty nice to have the pool, restaurant, and beach basically to ourselves. The room was clean, but the sea view is blocked by a big tree - you might as well save money with a garden view room. We were on the 4th floor, which should have the best view in the non-beachside wing, so it was a bit disappointing. The other big problem is that the air conditioning malfunctioned in the evening and the room became unbearably hot. A technician came and fixed it reasonably quickly, but it seems that this is perhaps not an uncommon problem with the rooms on the top floor. A couple small issues were the presence of stinging jellyfish in the surf (I only saw one; it was bigger than a basketball), which is posted and the staff warned us about, and also the prevalence of hangry mosquitoes after dark. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The beach is maintained daily and the property is kept clean. The included breakfast was just OK, but the dinner we ordered the night before at the hotel restaurant was pretty good. There's plenty of parking in an adjacent lot, with a night security guard. This is probably not the most convenient place to stay if you don't have a vehicle. One great thing this place has that other similar places usually don't is an elevator. There are nice little touches here and there, like the washing station when you return from the beach, the tasteful furnishings in the room, and decent breakfast coffee with real milk. Would we stay here again? In the low season and at a reasonable rate, sure.

A beautiful location! Most, if not all of the buildings and room types have elevator so I think it is an ideal place for families who have kids and elderly with them. There are many room types- some have private pool and there r also villas with private pool! The public pool is in the middle of the buildings next to the sea and the dining area. You can swim in the sea. It is safe because the land slowly slopes down, but when I got there it was jellyfish season and due to the recent storm, the water was of dark sandy color, so I didnt want to risk it. There is a pool for the kids with a slider and mushroom fountain of sort and there is the adult pool which is deeper (water reaches the chest or shoulder of an adult). What I love about this place is the green pastel themed room and the greeneries around the resort that goes well with its name, Eco Cozy- we have a wide screen TV in our room, soft bed and pillows, and the shower/bathroom are very well designed. Our package comes with breakfast which was very delicious. The ingredients are very fresh, and the atmosphere around the resort is simply peaceful and relaxing. If you are looking to escape the busy Bangkok city and have a peaceful holiday, this is the place. It is also not too far from Huahin so I was able to drive further down to visit the Cicada market and Tamarind market in Huahin as well. (They also have a small fitness room. They can also host party or wedding in their 3 or 4 meeting rooms or conference room)
